I am one of Julia's sisters so Tony was my dear brother-in-law. He was a lovely man renown for his Suffolk drawl. We were opposites in that I gabble on an on and he took ages to say what he wanted and we would laugh about it. He had a particular 'speech' that he would make if he wanted to discipline Edward and George and they, like my daughters, knew it by heart but Tony never took offence. He loved living in Bentley and used to tell me he had no need to go on holiday because he had everything he needed in Bentley.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
